We’re aware of an issue with a small number of customers' smart gas meters that is causing an interruption in supply.
If it is safe to access your gas meter, please go to it and press any button. On the screen you should see this message:
To reconnect your supply, just press and hold the round button (ensure all gas appliances are switched off first).
If your meter says anything else, we need to send it a command remotely to reconnect your supply. Check your meter again later.
If you can’t access your meter safely please let us know as soon as possible, we’ll need to arrange an emergency visit with qualified staff to fix this issue. Otherwise, there’s no need to get in touch.
