So Energy does not currently support prepayment meters and you will not be able to switch to us with a prepayment meter at the moment. Youcan request a change of meter type from your current energy supplier, after which you would be able to switch over to us.
Alternatively, if you have a generation 2 smart meter (SMETS2), you can ask your supplier to configure your meter from pre-payment mode over to standard credit mode, and then switch to us.
So, in order to join us, please speak to your current supplier and them to enact one of the changes outlined above. After this has been done, you can start a switch to So Energy.
