We understand that sometimes plans change and you no longer want to switch to us. From when you first begin your application to come on supply you then have 14 days to change your mind and cancel.  To find out how you can cancel your switch, please have a look at the steps below. 

Can I cancel my switch to you?

From when you first begin your application to come on supply you then have 14 days to change your mind and cancel, known as the cooling off period. If you are outside of your cooling off period, you will need to remain on supply with us for 28 days before you can switch suppliers. Through online account

The easiest way to cancel your switch to us is through your online account here. After logging into your account you will be greeted with the page below showing the progress of your switch.  If you are unable to login into your account, please see our article here.

From this page, just click 'cancel switch'. This will alert our systems that you wish to cancel your switch. You'll receive an email shortly afterwards to confirm that we've received your request.  You can see a copy of this below. There's nothing more that you need to do at this point.

Alternatively, if you wish to cancel your switch to us, you can contact us by either calling us on 0330 111 50 50 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) or emailing us at help@so.energy including “Cancel” in your subject to ensure that we can cancel your switch within your 14-day cooling off period.
